Description
This element contains a shortened version of the main article authors list for presentation or print in products or content lists that do not have space for the full author list. Typically, the first authors are listed followed by et al., as in the example below:
<shortauthors>B. I. Olu-Owolabi et al.</shortauthors>
This may be used in conjunction with
<shorttitle> to capture running heads that appear in print.
